Job Description:

You are responsible for the successful delivery of projects through key stages of delivery from Initialisation & Design to Execution. Develop strong working relationships with other teams across TJX Australia to gain and share depth of knowledge of information to support delivery of projects and continuous improvement.

About the Role:

Monitor and Report Project Status:

  • Oversee project activities, track and report progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule, with approved budget and provide desired business outcomes.
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan and recommended corrective action
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects within a larger programme that delivers growth and scalability to our store network.
  • Ensure each project is aligned with the overall programme goals and that key milestones and outcomes are achieved.

Programme Management:

  • In collaboration with the Manager of Strategic Program Management, maintain the overall programme of works, ensuring each project is tracked, resourced, and progressing as expected.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, including feedback on any variances, risks, or challenges that could impact the programme's success.

Stakeholder Liaison and Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication across various functions and teams, gathering feedback and information, aligning expectations, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into the project plan and make necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensuring collaboration with various departments such as Store Operations, Real Estate, IT and Finance to ensure successful project execution.

IDEAL EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

  • Experience in Store Operations, Retail, Supply Chain
  • High-level of expertise in Microsoft Office products, especially Project, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise in statistics and managing & interpreting large amounts of data from multiple sources is desirable
