What You'll Do:
- Place purchase orders based on weekly plans, review and update merchandise inbound flow plans, and coordinate adjustments to mitigate logistics changes and delays.
- Analyze visibility milestone reports and other tools to identify issues impacting merchandise flow, prepare and review reports, and provide regular updates to Buyers.
- Collaborate with Planning, Buyers, and other partners to address flow issues, implement discounts or cancellations, and resolve vendor problems.
- Manage the vendor base, ensure timely categorization of Corporate Import Requisitions, and maintain Department Profile Records.
- Work with Logistics to resolve shipping issues, ensure vendor samples are available for review, and participate in special projects as assigned.
About You:
- Minimum two years of retail or merchandising experience preferred; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills under time pressure with limited supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for team collaboration and building strong relationships.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, with a keen interest in merchandise and an understanding of consumer buying behaviours.
