Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

To execute the operation processes related to import logistics and documentation compliance. Supports the business in processes related to shipment booking, shipping documentation compliance, PO management, and various systems maintenance to achieve efficient and timely flow of goods.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Action import bookings and shipping instructions with the Freight Forwarder Audit import documentation for accuracy against in-house PO management systems and Australian Customs Regulations
  • Liaise with Merchandise Operations team with regards to purchase orders compliance (unit number, origin and cancel dates)
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure accuracy and efficiency of shipments
  • Update and maintain in-house PO management system with accurate information with regards to receipt and attribute of purchase orders

KEY MEASUREMENT CRITERIA

  • On-time and accurate maintenance of in-house PO management systems
  • Meticulous assessment of import documentation
  • Timely follow-up to queries
  • Maintain communication between stakeholders (Freight Forwarders, Vendors and Merchandise Operations)

IDEAL EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

  • Computer literate. (Intermediate level of MS Outlook, Word; intermediate level of Excel; knowledge of ERP systems advantageous.)
  • A disciplined approach and contentious attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skill with a positive, proactive approach.
  • Displays initiative and personifies the TJX Companies core behaviours.
