What you will do
The Distribution Engineering server team at TJX plays a critical role in supporting our global operations by ensuring seamless deployment, configuration, and management of compute solutions.
As an Engineer II on the Loss Prevention Engineering team at TJX you will play a critical role in supporting our global supply chain operations by ensuring reliable deployment, configuration, and management of LP technology solutions.
As an Engineer II supporting LP systems, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting Genetec-based infrastructure and integrated security technologies. This includes LP cameras, access control points, license plate readers (LPR), and shooter detection systems (SDS). Your work will help ensure the safety and security of our distribution centers and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Genetec Security Center environments across multiple supply chain sites
- Configure and troubleshoot LP cameras, access control systems, and LPR technologies
- Assist with SDS deployment, configuration, and ongoing support
- Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance or connectivity issues
- Participate in patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of LP technology assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including LP, Infrastructure, and Site Operations to support deployments and incident response
- Maintain documentation and follow change management processes

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- Hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center or similar LP platforms
- Working knowledge of IP-based camera systems and access control technologies
- Familiarity with LP systems in a supply chain or enterprise environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with system monitoring tools and firmware configurations
- Understanding of ITIL practices and service management tools
- Exposure to enterprise-grade physical security and incident response systems
