Job Description:

At TJX Europe, we're continuing to develop how we communicate about our business and our people, with a clear focus on reputation-led corporate communications that genuinely reflect who we are.

We're looking for an experienced corporate communications professional, ideally with a blend of corporate and consumer-facing experience, to join us on an interim basis to help shape and deliver an insight-led approach to internal and external storytelling, campaigns and owned channels including LinkedIn.

This is a hands-on role focused on delivering priority communications projects and campaigns, using insight and measurement to understand what works, and embedding new ways of working across our internal and external communications.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading priority storytelling campaigns from concept through to execution
  • Shaping clear, credible narratives that reflect our business and reputation priorities
  • Building a consistent, always-on approach to content across channels
  • Evolving LinkedIn as a key corporate channel, with a strong content pipeline that includes corporate stories and associate voices
  • Identifying proactive story opportunities and bringing an external perspective to communications planning
  • Partnering closely with internal communications to ensure a joined-up approach across audiences
  • Supporting issue and crisis communications

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience in corporate communications, including internal and external communications, ideally within a consumer-facing or retail organisation
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to turn complex or broad topics into clear, engaging narratives
  • Experience developing and delivering communications plans, content and campaigns across multiple channels
  • Good instinct for reputation management, with the judgement to spot potential risks and shape communications carefully in sensitive or fast-moving situations.
  • Confidence working with agencies to shape output and move work forward at pace
  • Experience navigating a matrix organisation and building strong working relationships across multiple teams
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to bring structure to developing areas, take ownership and move work forward independently
  • Understanding of how to measure and evaluate communications activity and its impact, delivering results on time and budget.

You must have the legal right to work in the country you are applying to.
