We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, self-starter to join our Brand Marketing team as a Marketing Specialist.
The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting programming for HomeGoods' marketing initiatives within Social Purpose and Organic Social Media. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives working independently, yet is also comfortable being hands-on and collaborating within a team. This role offers valuable exposure to broader brand marketing functions and provides a strong opportunity to expand and deepen your overall marketing abilities. Specialist reports into the Brand Marketing Manager.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Assist in coordinating charitable partner campaigns in collaboration with external charity partners.
- Track campaign performance data and prepare detailed impact reports for partners.
- Help create campaign and event recap materials for internal and external partners.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and Commercial Co Venture reporting.
- Assist in coordinating large-scale events in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Manage and coordinate all internal communications related to campaigns and events.
- Support with charitable merchandise production and serve as a liaison with internal and external partners.
- Partnering with internal teams as needed including legal, global communications, buyers, and creative.
- Maintain an understanding of the latest social trends, consumer behavior, and app capabilities across social platforms.
- Assist with capturing and creating social media content across platforms as-needed.
- Support social content planning, scheduling, and publishing as priorities shift.
- Source and organize UGC, noting potential opportunities for use.
- Help analyze social data and share simple insights through weekly/monthly reports.
- Maintain brand tone and visual identity across platforms, ensuring consistency with established brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
- 1-3+ years of full-time Marketing experience required, experience in content creation, a plus.
- Demonstrated user proficiency and a solid understanding of key social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, YouTube Shorts & Pinterest.
- Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to generate original content ideas.
- Knowledge of social/video editing tools (such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social reporting dashboards is a plus, but not required.
- Organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize projects simultaneously and quickly shift gears in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
- Proactive self-starter who is highly motivated, resourceful, ambitious, and willing to learn.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative nature, with the ability to form relationships across business functions.
- Respect for established business model and workplace culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

This position has a starting salary range of $65,000.00 to $81,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
