About the Internship
The Human Resources Department is looking for a year-round intern to join their Talent Management team! You will be a member of the Talent Management team, partnering with Talent Acquisition, the HR Business Partners, and other Centers of Excellence on key initiatives for the agency. You will have the opportunity to apply your education to a professional setting, while gaining valuable experience and skills. In this position you will learn and apply our processes, and you will have the opportunity to recommend improvements and impact real change.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating presentation materials, handouts, and other resources that will be used during workshops
- Support virtual and in-person learning in a producer role ranging from individual contributor skill development to leadership workshops
- Research best practices and emerging trends to identify opportunities for growth and support of training and development programs and technologies
- Assist with a manager communication strategy
- Assist with developing marketing material for agency programs
- Shadow Talent Management team members to understand their work and how it integrates across HR strategies to drive business results
- Managing other special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
- Major in Human Resources or a related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Learnings from your completed courses pertaining to the Talent Management focus area in Human Resources is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency or knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Internship Details
- The start date is expected to be in January 2026
- This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day, with some flexibility)
- In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits interns to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required depending on business needs.

Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly rate range is $18.07 to $27.89 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
