Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain batch processing applications using Spring Batch
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to understand data processing requirements
- Develop high-performance and scalable ETL/data processing pipelines
- Optimize batch jobs for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Handle large volume data processing, scheduling, and monitoring
- Integrate batch systems with databases, messaging systems, and REST APIs
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
6+ years experience in
- Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Batch
- Experience in building ETL pipelines / batch processing systems
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Understanding of multithreading and concurrency
- Experience with job schedulers (Control-M, Autosys, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
