Job Description: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Hyderabad, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst based in Hyderabad, India, to join our Employee Benefits End-to-End Service team. In this role, you will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to support the planning and delivery of AI and cloud-based solutions. You will help define current-state and future-state processes, support migration initiatives, and ensure integrations and platform capabilities align with business requirements. You will play a key role in translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring solutions support Claims strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation within Employee benefits E2E Service workflow.

Guide project teams in developing solutions and strategies that address complex business challenges, leveraging both claim and technical expertise.

Mentor and support team members in eliciting requirements, selecting analysis approaches, and identifying process gaps.

Design and facilitate collaborative sessions, workshops, and meetings to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and achieve actionable outcomes.

Support vendor management activities related to the claim applications, including upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution.

Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders, conveying complex technical and business concepts in clear, actionable terms.

Lead organized planning sessions with stakeholders to create clear project objectives, workplan, delivery phases, resource allocation and business engagement plans

Ability to provide support on testing proposed changes in a thorough and timely manner. Raising issues and concerns to appropriate level of management in a timely manner, including suggesting options for resolution.

Mentor team members and promote best practices.

Continuously explore emerging technologies, including Generative AI tools to improve solutions and processes.

Participate in SAFe Agile processes to deliver high-quality, reliable requirements and solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with at least seven years of diverse IT and business analysis experience, with a strong track record in the insurance industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Guidewire Insurance Suite (Claim Center preferred).
  • Experience working with Employee Benefits (Group Benefits) business
  • Exposure to Generative AI tools.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proven experience facilitating cross-functional teams, driving change, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party technology providers.

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Experience with Pega Suite products
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Gen AI services.
