Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Developer to design and build modern, cloud - native applications using Pega Cloud, Constellation UI, and the latest Pega Infinity platform capabilities. This role focuses on creating scalable, intuitive, and maintainable digital workflow solutions leveraging low - code App Studio, Constellation's React - based architecture, and Pega's cloud deployment ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong collaboration, solution design, and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality applications on Pega Cloud , leveraging cloud-native services, autoscaling, and platform-managed infrastructure.
  • Translate business requirements into robust Pega solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
  • Create and maintain reusable Pega components including flows, data pages, activities, UI components, integrations, case types, and decision rules.
  • Utilize Constellation UI and Cosmos React to create modern, accessible, and consistent experiences.
  • Lead solution design sessions and provide technical guidance to junior developers and stakeholders.
  • Integrate Pega applications with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, JDBC, and other integration patterns.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability, high availability, and maintainability.
  • Perform code reviews to enforce Pega guardrails and best practices.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to support testing cycles, troubleshoot defects, and ensure smooth releases.
  • Stay current with Pega enhancements, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve the platform ecosystem.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is required .
  • 8-10 years h ands - on Pega experience developing solutions on Pega Cloud.
  • Strong experience with case management, d ata pages, integrations, decisioning, and automation.
  • Deep experience with :
  • Constellation UI (React -based)
  • Cosmos React
  • App Studio-led development practices
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.


Nice to Have

  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) or progress toward certification.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance productivity is a plus.
  • Experience designing microservices-based or cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Docker.
  • Familiarity with App Studio and low-code/no-code enablement.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments, especially in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or government sectors.
