Position Overview
We are seeking a technically proficient and leadership-oriented Manager of IT Cloud Engineering for our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform. This role combines hands-on cloud engineering with team leadership and strategic oversight. You will guide the technical direction of IDP initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable, production-grade solutions that support automated document workflows and advanced data extraction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and delivery of cloud-native IDP solutions using AWS and third-party platforms.
- Manage a team of engineers and collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align IDP capabilities with enterprise goals.
- Oversee development and optimization of automated workflows for document ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation.
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and infrastructure resilience across the IDP platform.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and fault-tolerant mechanisms to ensure platform reliability.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor ' s Degree in Computer Science , IT, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, ECS, IAM).
- Programming experience in .NET and Python for backend services.
- Familiarity with OCR/NLP technologies and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps ).
- Experience with GenAI-powered IDP platforms.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Tableau, and relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Rally.
