Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Framework Development
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright
- Write scalable, reusable, and maintainable test scripts
- Implement cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Automate end-to-end workflows and regression suites
Backend & API Testing
- Automate API tests using REST APIs
- Validate backend services, response schema, and data integrity
- Mock/stub services as needed for test isolation
CI/CD & DevOps Integration
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Configure test execution, reporting, and failure analysis
- Support shift-left testing and continuous quality practices
Quality Engineering
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams
- Perform test reviews and ensure test coverage
- Actively contribute to improving QA processes and quality metrics
- Debug production issues and identify test gaps

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience in UI automation, API testing, and test design
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of Git / version control systems
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Node.js
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Exposure to Docker and containerized test execution
- Understanding of performance or accessibility testing
- Agile / Scrum experience
