• Inspects recreation facilities to determine the need for repair work and performs maintenance and repair of all facilities and infrastructure including but not limited to painting, mowing, brush trimming, tree removal and building and equipment maintenance.
• Reviews blueprints, plans, schematics and/or technical manuals for maintenance purposes.
• Operates hand power tools, generators, tractors, mowers and associated equipment in connection with repair work and maintenance of bicycle trails, fire lanes, gates, fencing and buildings.
• Picks up supplies needed for maintenance and repair work.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of the types and uses of hand-held power tools such as drills and electric hand saws and small hand tools such as hammers and wrenches.
• Knowledge of the types and uses of small measurement devices such as calipers, levels, rulers, steel squares and gauges.
• Skill in using small measurement devices such as calipers, levels, rulers, steel squares and gauges.
• Skill in the use of hand-held power tools such as drills and chain saws, and small hand tools such as hammers and wrenches.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
