Overview

The Interpersonal Violence Coordinator provides trauma-informed, survivor-centered advocacy, and case management support to individuals impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and related harms. The role assists survivors in navigating campus and community systems, offers crisis intervention, safety planning, and resource coordination, and serves as an advisor during Title IX and related processes. In collaboration with Student Wellness CARE and campus partners, the position supports intake and ongoing case management, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to outreach, education, and the broader mission of the office, always prioritizing survivor safety, autonomy, and well-being.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience providing trauma-informed advocacy, crisis intervention, and case management for survivors, including risk assessment, safety planning, ongoing case monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration, preferably within a higher education or similarly complex institutional setting
  • Minimum of three years of case management, social work, and/or community resourcing
  • Demonstrated experience working with underrepresented and marginalized student populations, establishing partnerships with local service providers, and delivering coordinated, survivor-centered support.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience working with survivors of interpersonal violence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, protection orders, and related policies and laws
  • Strong understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence, coercive control, systemic oppression, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Working Location

    This is an onsite position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities, which may require occasional work on evenings and weekends.
