The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Graphic Design Intern - (Unpaid Internship) to perform the duties listed below on a part-time basis.

Contracted Student Internship: Graphic Design Intern
Start/End Date: 1/20/2026 - 4/3/2026
Salary Rate: $0.00 (UNPAID Internship)
Weekly Hours: 15 hours
Number of Openings: 1 position
This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.
Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Senior Designer in creating program logos, flyers, signage and advertisements.
- Work as part of the communications team
- Help design graphic assets.
- Work collaboratively to develop and deliver high-quality products that meet design and brand standards.
- Receive and implement feedback from Senior Designer and/or team leader.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign; Canva.
- Principles of design including: layout, typography, composition.
- Strong attention to detail.
