Job Description
Overview
The media and communication department is seeking candidates for a full-time, temporary, faculty position to begin September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will exhibit evidence of teaching effectiveness and maintain an active research agenda. The public relations position in Media and Communication will include undergraduate teaching duties in public relations, multimedia storytelling, and other core courses as needed. Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: public relations, use and regulation of new electronic communication technologies, and interdisciplinary multimedia applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding.
