The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Public Health Intern (Unpaid Internship) for 2026 Spring Semester to perform the duties listed below on a part-time basis.

Start/End Date: 6/1/2026 - 8/17/2026

Salary Rate: $0.00 (UNPAID Student Internship)

Weekly Hours: 20 hours

Number of Openings: 1 position

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.

General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will work with the DCR Public Health Specialist with administrative and research tasks related to the Agency's state-wide public health protocols, programs and initiatives.

Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

Public health background preferred.

Interest in working in homelessness, housing, or vulnerable populations.

Ability to curate a library of resources in an easy-to-access understandable manner.

Sensitivity to the subject.

Communication skills.
