Overview

Join Salem State University's Retention Services as an Assistant Director for Case Management & Engagement, where you'll provide leadership for case management and retention efforts through Navigate360 (N360) to make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys. Reporting to the Senior Director of Retention Services and Director of Veterans' Affairs, this position serves as the primary liaison between faculty and staff, advising units, and Retention Services to ensure timely, effective, and equity-minded outreach to students experiencing academic and/or day-to-day challenges.

This role is designed to strengthen faculty and staff engagement in early alert and case management practices by providing leadership for Faculty Lead Advisors, overseeing the onboarding and preparation of faculty and staff case managers, advancing collaboration across academic units, and evaluating the effectiveness of case management systems and practices. While this role does not supervise staff case managers, it exercises operational leadership over shared structures, standards, and communications to support a cohesive, campus-wide approach to student support.
