Job Description
The ANF IT DCAMM Support Team is seeking a skilled, versatile and hands-on IT Lead who will oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of various technology systems within DCAMM. This role balances strategic planning with practical technical responsibilities. The IT Lead is an integral part of the team as the Lead will provide guidance and support to the IT team, assist with troubleshooting issues, develop solutions, and implement best practices across hardware, software, and network infrastructures ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations.
The IT Lead will also foster productive relationships with stakeholders such as a.) Business Units within DCAMM to ensures technology initiatives align with organizational goal, b.) EOTSS, to ensure systems reliability and operational security c.) SaaS Solution Providers, by managing vendor performance, coordinating integrations, and ensuring solutions align with business and technical requirements as well as d.) ANF IT Enterprise Support Teams for continuous improvement across IT services.
A familiarity with network support is also desired for this position to support DCAMM as Building Management Systems are migrated onto the Commonwealth's One Network

Responsibilities:
- Support development staff and lead maintenance and optimization efforts for DCAMM's data warehouse, ensuring timely, accessible, and reliable data for analytics and reporting.
- Implement, manage and maintain various data sources connections. This includes ODBC connections, APIs, and direct database links to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Serve as a Database Owner (DBO) and SQL Server Administrator, managing database permissions, access management - including service and system accounts, performance tuning, and overall SQL Server health and reliability.
- Manage and support secure file transfer processes (SFTP) utilizing MoveIT, and GPG-encrypted workflows with key management, certifying reliable, secure, and compliant data exchanges.
- Automate and schedule tasks using PowerShell and Windows Task Scheduler to improve efficiency and consistency in IT operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SaaS solution providers, including some vendor management, contract coordination, performance oversight, troubleshooting and integration support.
- Collaborate with Security Teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and oversee security policy implementation across various platforms.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and prioritize work, break down large initiatives into achievable milestones, and balance technical debt with new feature development.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions for continuous improvements.
- Proactively ensure all application servers/databases hosted on AWS remain secure, high-performing, and right sized.
- Provide light network support, including monitoring connectivity, assisting with troubleshooting, and helping maintain a secure and stable network environment.
- Perform other IT related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data management principles.
- Experience with SQL Server Administration managing source connections (i.e. ODBC, APIs, Direct Links etc..).
- Experience with MOVEit, SFTP, and PowerShell, including administration, configuration, workflow management, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with secure file transfers utilizing GPG encryption and key management
- Familiar with automation and scripting using PowerShell and Windows Task Scheduler.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, DNS, etc.)
- Familiarity with implementing security best practices and supporting identity/access management
- Ability to multitask and work on concurrent projects.
- The ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and effectively work in a hybrid work model.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to effectively interact with end-users in identifying and resolving technical issues.

Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have (A) at least three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional or practical experience in the field of information technology application development and support, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. An Associate's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
II. A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
III. A Master's degree or higher in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
