Technical Commercialization Manager
Summary
Responsible for the monitoring of multiple manufacturing processes to ensure consistent finished flavors. This includes the evaluation of analytical results for raw, natural ingredients and in-process samples at various stages in a multi-step manufacturing process. This role will interact with production, laboratory, Flavor Supply, and R&D teams to ensure that the finished product is within quality specifications. This position will work with various departments in Technical to ensure that products obtain all necessary approvals, that ingredients are available when needed, and that initial commercial runs are approved and delivered on time. This position requires availability during off hours for product or equipment issues collaboration.

- Develop and lead all activities related to product specifications, development, quality and food safety.
- Communicate written product specific manufacturing instructions to production team.
- Allocate raw materials using analytical results and develop/maintain communication dashboards.
- Monitor control points in the manufacturing process to ensure that process is in control and troubleshoot when necessary. Partner with Production and Engineering as needed.
- Innovate and identify areas of opportunity to create value with current products and new products while managing inventory and working capital.
- Work closely with FM Production and Planning, Flavor Supply, and R&D teams to commercialize first production of new products.
- Lead and own quality within FM, specifically related to non-conforming material, aging materials, shelf-life and obsoleted materials.
- Provide 1st line of communication with developers and Business Units regarding status of products and commercialization activities.
- Partner with the FM Production and Logistics teams to improve and optimize production of new products and address manufacturing concerns.
- Coordinate with other teams within Technical to submit all required documentation for S-code assignment.
- Manage SDS and GHS master data for all finished products.
- Lead teams through Quality, safety and technical change.
- Lead and demonstrate the TCCC growth behaviors to add value to TCCC.
Education Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred. B.S. in Chemistry
- 3-5 years of experience in high volume manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience in an ISO certified plant is a plus.
Functional
- Experience in food safety/GMP
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in process scale-up and commercialization.
- Cross functional and project management skills, including self-managed multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
- Solid interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Range:
$109,000 - $129,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
