Summer Student Placement - Operations Support (12 weeks)

We are now inviting applications from motivated students seeking a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a globally recognised organisation. As a Summer Student, you will support our Operations and Warehouse teams, contributing to a range of day-to-day activities and gaining practical insight into a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This 12-week placement is based on-site at Coca-Cola Ballina, Co. Mayo and involves shift work, so flexibility is essential. Candidates must be available to commence this placement on June 8 and commit to the full 12-weeks.

What you will do for us

  • Safety - compliance to health and safety procedures always.
  • Quality - compliance to quality standards in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Operations Support - work with and support the Operations & Warehouse Team with a variety of tasks and day to day activities including weighing & measuring materials, data entry, materials movement, in process checks, labelling, filling, cycle counting, shipping sampling maintaining a high level of GMP.
  • Operational Excellence - support the Operational Excellence Programme and continuous improvement culture at Coca-Cola Ballina.
  • Documentation - accurate completion of all necessary documentation. Ensure compliance to all documented procedures and GMP requirements as outlined in the company procedures.

Education I Experience I Requirements

  • Students currently studying in college or university with a minimum of 1 year completed.
  • Previous experience in, or a strong interest in manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good level of computer/system literacy preferred.
  • Full Driver's licence preferred.
  • Available to do shift work.
  • Available to commence in June 2026 and commit to the full 12-week placement.
