Please note: This role is not a fully remote position. The selected candidate will need to be based in Shanghai, China, and follow our hybrid work setup-3 days onsite and 2 days working from home each week. This is an Individual Contributor position.

The Senior Manager, Field Enablement is responsible for ensuring our Greater China and Mongolia (GCM) market and partners are ready to commercialize the technologies that are developed by Global Equipment Platforms (GEP) or in conjunction with our manufacturing partners. You will provide technical and system expertise, advising on global, divisional, regional CDE technology, and environmental initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. By providing proactive support through a holistic, integrated capability that ensures operational excellence and market success across all GEP platforms within GCM. This role directly removes barriers to operational execution by enabling the network, standardizing processes, and driving clear accountability. Reporting to the Sr. Dir., Field Enablement, in this role, you will drive continuous improvement, and sustainability efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both company (KORE) specifications and international standards (i.e. regulatory, environmental, safety etc.). By building strong partnerships, capabilities and training protocols while optimizing supply chain processes, this individual will enable the delivery of quality-first equipment, faster time-to-market, and exceptional service outcomes.

What You'll Do for Us:

Enable Field Success (60% of Role) Value-Driven Equipment Solutions: 

  • Shift the perception of technical field operations from a cost reduction exercise to a value enabler by focusing on translating the business brief into technical requirements and being the liaison between our Customer/Commercial team, technical organization, GEP, CEPG, and suppliers.
  • Predictive Analytics and Connected Diagnostics: Build operations capabilities by leveraging IoT and connected diagnostics, enabling early identification and preventive resolution of potential field failures.
  • Provide Superior Technical Support: Responsible for technical support needs from customers, ensuring initiatives are aligned to equipment strategies, leverage internal and external resources & capabilities on demand. Including technical project management leadership: project schedule management, risk management, able to elaborate technical results to support business needs.
  • Clear Escalation Paths: Create clear escalation paths for field issues, eliminating inefficiencies and ensuring issues are resolved conclusively.
  • Market and Bottler Readiness: Prepare markets and bottlers for launch readiness to ensure the successful adoption of new equipment capabilities and solutions.
  • Provide guidance on required operational process changes and the new capabilities and skill sets needed to support emerging technologies, ensuring seamless transitions and market success.

Enable Successful Manufacturing Partnerships (40% of Role)

  • Enable Partner Upskilling: Build partner capabilities by equipping them with process improvements, training, and resources required to scale and implement new technologies. While maintaining current portfolio of equipment relevant to the market
  • Resilient Supply Chains: Optimize supply chain resilience and efficiency by working closely with suppliers to anticipate disruptions and meet global demands. Understand, and provide thought leadership in drafting equipment validation & laboratory protocols
  • Innovative Commercial Models: Support sustainable, win-win business models that maximize mutual value for GEP and its manufacturing partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field), Advance degree may require less work experience, if in same discipline or field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience in roles such technical project management, sustaining engineering or new product introduction.
  • Equipment development experience in the beverages industry or successful experience in industry.
  • Experience with cooling equipment or refrigeration systems.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written. Additional language is a plus.
