Senior Manager, Communications (Corporate Reputation)

As Senior Manager, Communications (Corporate Reputation), you will play a critical role in protecting and defending the company's reputation in partnership with the Director, Communications (Corporate Reputation). This role is responsible for day-to-day operational readiness and response across issues and crises, helping ensure the organization is prepared, aligned, and able to respond quickly and effectively as issues emerge.
What You'll Do
- Support crisis and issues management for North America and provide support and guidance to teams including the North America (NA) Bottling System, Legal, Technical, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, and Communication teams on issues and opportunities.
- Serve as core team member of NA operating unit's Incident Management and Crisis Resolution (IMCR) team, consulting on day-to-day operational issues impacting our workforce, facilities, third-party facilities, bottling partners, product quality and safety, and supply chain.
- Supports The Coca-Cola Company reputational issues and crisis scenario planning in partnership with Director, Communications (Corporate Reputation).
- Support TCCC Media Inbox inquiries related to NA issues; help triage response strategy in alignment with internal partners. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Support digital monitoring and insights and stay ahead of trends to protect the company from digital risk.
- Manage and enhance team resources such as the Messaging Repository and Issues Tracker, to ensure consistency and efficiency in crisis readiness.
- Work with the broader communications team to develop and execute proactive internal and external communications plans around key topics to support crisis & issues management.
Qualifications
- 6+ years in external communications, crisis management, media relations, and/or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and message development skills under tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and move projects forward quickly and sometimes with minimal supervision.
- Ability to articulate complex issues and to distill down to what is needed to protect the reputation of the company.
- Experience navigating complex regulatory, societal, or activist-driven issues.
- Demonstrated sound judgment in high stakes situations, including navigating the company on when to speak, when to listen, and when not to engage.
- Discretion when managing sensitive topics, ambiguity, and competing perspectives in a highly visible brand environment.
- Understanding of the online media and social media landscape and how to manage a company's reputation on those channels.
- Ability to prepare others to serve as a spokesperson.
- Exceptional judgement, discretion, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Strong relationship building skills across internal teams, media, and external partners.

Pay Range:
$141,750 - $164,850
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
