The Senior Director, R&D Digital Platform leads the strategy, development, and governance of digital platforms that power research and innovation across the TI&SC function. This executive role drives the adoption of advanced analytics, data science, and emerging technologies to accelerate product development, operational excellence, and transformational growth. The position is responsible for building a robust digital ecosystem, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance and data integrity across global R&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Platform Integration

  • Architect and implement a unified digital platform connecting all stages of R&D and product development within TI&SC.
  • Integrate function-specific digital and AI tools into a scalable, cohesive ecosystem to maximize innovation and operational efficiency.

Consumer Data Connectivity

  • Establish robust connections between TI&SC digital platforms and enterprise consumer data sources.
  • Enable real-time consumer insights to guide research and innovation, ensuring development efforts are aligned with consumer needs and satisfaction.

Governance & Strategic Alignment

  • Develop and lead governance processes for reviewing, prioritizing, and aligning TI&SC digital investments and innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity, security, and regulatory standards across all digital activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive adoption and continuous improvement of the digital platform.
  • Foster a culture of digital fluency, collaboration, and consumer-centric innovation across global teams.

Performance Measurement & Communication

  • Define and track key performance indicators for platform adoption, consumer impact, and business value.
  • Communicate platform strategy, progress, and insights to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital platforms, data, or analytics, ideally within R&D or innovation-focused environments.
  • Proven success in building and scaling digital ecosystems, integrating AI and consumer data into business processes.
  • Expertise in platform architecture, cloud technologies, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, global teams and managing complex portfolios.
  • Fluent in English; experience in multinational environments preferred.
