Senior Director, Productivity & Performance Management

The Senior Director I, Productivity & Performance Management is a critical leadership role within the Supply Chain Finance team in North America Operating Unit (NAOU). This role is responsible for driving supply chain productivity, cost discipline, and performance excellence. This role partners closely with Supply Chain Transformation, Supply Chain Operations, Strategic Procurement, E2E Planning, Digital & Technology, and Finance to define productivity agendas, establish clear performance targets, and ensure disciplined execution.

The Senior Director, Productivity & Performance Management sets and governs KPI frameworks, translates financial targets into operational goals, and ensures sustained delivery of cost savings and efficiency improvements. The Senior Director drives rigorous performance cadences, enabling data-driven decisions that strengthen operating margins, improve asset utilization, and enhance supply chain competitiveness.

This role has a direct and material impact on NAOU's financial performance, margin expansion, and competitiveness. Through rigorous productivity management, performance tracking, and value realization, this leader ensures that enterprise initiatives deliver measurable results, drive cost discipline, and enable reinvestment for growth-strengthening NAOU's long-term economic resilience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supply Chain Productivity Strategy - Partner with Supply Chain Transformation to lead the development and execution of NAOU Supply Chain productivity strategies, aligning cost, service, and working capital objectives with financial plans and long-range targets.
  • KPI & Target Setting - Establish, standardize, and govern supply chain KPIs and targets across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, procurement, and planning, ensuring alignment between operational metrics and P&L outcomes.
  • Cost Management & Value Delivery - Drive supply chain cost management, including productivity savings, cost-out initiatives, and efficiency programs, with clear ownership, milestones, and financial validation.
  • Financial & Operational Performance Management - Integrate financial and operational performance management by translating budgets, forecasts, and productivity commitments into actionable operational targets and disciplined execution tracking.
  • Performance Cadence & Governance - Support performance management rhythms including monthly reviews, productivity scorecards, and corrective action planning with supply chain and finance leadership.
  • Data, Insights & Executive Storytelling - Leverage analytics and visualization to deliver clear, actionable insights on cost, productivity, and performance trends, enabling leadership to make informed trade-off and investment decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment - Partner with Procurement, Finance, Planning, and Operations to align productivity initiatives, remove structural inefficiencies, and accelerate value across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Process Excellence & Digitization - Champion standardized processes, automation, and digital performance management tools to improve data quality, transparency, and speed of decision-making.
  • Change & Capability Leadership - Build productivity and performance management capabilities across the supply chain by embedding accountability, continuous improvement mindsets, and KPI ownership.
  • Ad Hoc Strategic Initiatives - Lead or support high-impact supply chain transformation and cost optimization initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in productivity management, performance management, finance, strategy, consulting, or transformation roles within a large, complex, matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience designing and leading enterprise productivity, cost transformation, or value realization programs with measurable financial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, KPIs, benchmarking, and performance analytics, with the ability to link operational actions to P&L impact.
  • Advanced capability in forecasting, scenario modeling, analytics, automation, and performance visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources and translate insights into clear, compelling executive-level narratives.
  • Strong proficiency with analytics platforms, performance management tools, visualization software, and ERP systems; experience with transformation or value-tracking tools is a plus.
  • Outstanding leadership, influence, and collaboration skills, with success operating in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to drive alignment, accountability, and action at senior leadership levels.
