Senior Director, Performance Evaluation & Sourcing Analytics

This position is a key member of the Procurement Strategy & Performance leadership team (S&P), supporting performance analytics and evaluation for the Global Procurement organization (GP) and Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG). The candidate will be responsible for leading a global team, consisting of analysts located in the United States, Mexico and the Philippines. The candidate lead this team to ensure high performance of multiple projects that have key strategic impact on S&P and various towers in GP and CEPG. The candidate will be required to have strong leadership and project management skills, in addition to the ability to provide recommendation on the appropriate metrics to monitor and evaluate various projects, with different size and complexity. Also, the role will require communicating and influencing the decision-making process across various stakeholders in GP and CEPG, Platform Services and other units in The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of approximately a dozen analysts, located in the United States, Mexico and the Philippines and manage complex projects that have an impact on the GP and CEPG organizations.
  • Champion the implementation of best practices in performance evaluation across GP and CEPG, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Define performance metrics given the project/area of assessment and lead the independent evaluation of projects, tools, systems and processes for S&P, GP and CEPG.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement, lead various process improvement initiatives, and drive change management efforts, with a particular emphasis on utilizing digital capabilities and AI to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in performance evaluation and sourcing analytics to continually enhance the effectiveness of the S&P team.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings with key stakeholders to report on performance metrics, insights, and recommendations for action.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the procurement process, using advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to business issues for procurement that may vary across procurement categories by bringing business acumen and strategic thinking to a variety of Procurement-related issues.
  • Understand the output of various analyses and provide explanations for questions from senior leaders in procurement, including the CPO and CEPG leadership, anticipating the questions and proactively preparing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement leaders across various towers, operating units, and Corporate functions.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; CFA, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-12 years of experience in procurement, finance, or related field, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions to business issues.
  • Experience designing and developing complex and large data models.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a project team and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management initiatives.
  • The candidate should be able to adapt to the 'whitespace' environment for this role given the varying types of business issues to solve and demonstrate ability to bring structured thinking to unfamiliar areas.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are required.
  • Succinct and concise communication (verbal and written) with more senior stakeholders internally and externally are critical for this role.
  • The candidate should be able to maintain high levels of accountability, independence, and objectivity while being able to problem solve and align key stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is required for this role.
  • This role will manage approximately a dozen analyst across the United States, Mexico and the Philippines.
