Senior Director, Master Data Center of Excellence (COE)
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Director, Master Data Center of Excellence (COE), focused on customer data architecture development for superior analytics and financial leadership for our customers and our company. This is a newly created role with people leadership that will reside in Global Finance Operations with deep collaboration across NAOU (Sales, Finance and Operations), Global IT, Digital Services and Data Governance teams.
This leader will guide and influence high-quality, consistent, and scalable master data customer requirements. The role has heavy connection to commercial execution, supply chain efficiency, order-to-cash performance, financial reporting, analytics, and digital transformation across a complex business serving thousands of Coca-Cola customers. This role ensures that critical business data is accurate, consistent and timely.
Success in this role requires deep collaboration across functions to ensure customer set up for financial systems (including customer payments, forecasting, planning, renewals, new categories, new business, etc.) facilitates a flawless customer execution of core Order-To-Cash, Reimbursement and P&L functions.
Key Responsibilities
The role is both strategic and operational, enabling the business to improve customer service, reduce revenue leakage, accelerate decision-making, and support growth through trusted enterprise data.
- Strategic Vision Setting and Customer Orientation: Set agenda for a new team that will drive a customer-centric focus on data architecture and experience, creating best-in-class customer execution of financial systems and outcomes for The Coca-Cola Company.
- Influencing and Cross-functional alignment: Partner with customer OU business, Master Data Governance and IT to ensure master data capabilities support sales execution, supply chain planning, financial reporting, customer segmentation, and analytics.
- Operational Leadership and COE management: Enable data governance execution, issue resolution, reporting, and continuous improvement in partnership with cross-functional partners (sales, finance, operations). Ensure timely and accurate completion of master data requests while balancing speed, quality, control, and business responsiveness.
- Process Excellence and Resolution: Standardize and optimize workflows for customer onboarding, product setup, pricing updates, account changes, vendor maintenance, territory alignment, and customer hierarchy management. Define data quality rules, metrics, monitoring routines, exception reporting, and remediation processes.
- Order-to-Cash Success: Improve master data inputs that affect order entry, fulfillment, invoicing, cash application, deductions, customer claims, and dispute resolution.
- Finance Partnership: Enable accurate P&L reporting, trade spend analysis, margin analysis, customer profitability, and management reporting - in partnership with Financial Planning and Trade Programs leadership.

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused, business-oriented data leader who understands that master data is not just a technical function, but a core operational capability for customer success. They can connect data quality to customer service, revenue, margin, supply chain execution, financial reporting, and commercial growth -with a high focus on service excellence. They are comfortable leading through influence, building governance from the ground up, simplifying complex processes, and creating accountability across functions. They bring strong executive presence, operational discipline, and the ability to translate data issues into business outcomes. Specific skills required:

In addition, this leader must be agile, willing to take risks without compromising quality and speed of execution of key systems to enable customer Master Data success for our customer partners.

United States of America: 195,500 USD - 226,800 USD
