Senior Director, Global Energy Procurement
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Director of Global Energy Procurement. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Procurement - Energy, Contract Manufacturing and Supplier Development and is responsible for developing the global strategic sourcing strategy for energy procurement, including category ownership, development of a long-term sourcing strategy road map and strategy implementation.
This is a newly created role with expectations to drive pooling synergies, volume aggregation, and optimization across the Coca-Cola system with energy providers. You will interact directly with our stakeholders and continually challenge yourself to navigate ambiguous situations and ever-changing environments. You will add value by taking an enterprise approach, looking at the bigger picture and thinking creatively for networked solutions. You will be the point person globally for energy procurement and be the category subject matter expert for new strategic contracts, while ensuring existing relationships are properly managed.
Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities
Scope the global energy footprint across the Coca-Cola system.
Responsible for developing a world class global sourcing strategy for energy procurement.
Be the subject matter expert and serve as the global point of contact for all interfaces with internal stakeholders (i.e. Operating Units, Procurement, Supply Chain teams, etc.) to align on the category strategy, TCO and further efficiencies of existing and new energy products.
Manage the performance of key suppliers aligned with stakeholder expectations and work collectively with those suppliers to develop new/global collaborative initiatives.
Execute strategic sourcing initiatives with cross functional teams (OUs, SMEs, Global and Regional Procurement, and Sustainability).
Establish a strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, lead supplier negotiations and develop a global contracting strategy while maintaining local nuances.
Identify category risks and develop comprehensive risk mitigation/business continuity plans.
Leverage data analysis to identify new cost savings opportunities within the category.
Identify new suppliers capable of meeting business requirements, increasing competition and opportunities.
Collaborate with legal on contract negotiation, drafting and execution, including scope, quality, time and cost of service and other contract terms and conditions.
Develop and maintain global energy market data, knowledge and insights.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent technical curriculum.
MBA or any post graduate degree preferred.
Related Work Experience
At a minimum 7-10 years of work experience with 5+ years of demonstrated progression with new procurement category development or equivalent
Global company experience / Matrixed environment / Enterprise System experience due to the complexities and challenges of the role.
Strong communication skills
Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
Exposure to new technologies and trends related to energy procurement
Business development and/or operations experience from a leading CPG

Pay Range:
$181,000 - $221,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
