Senior Director, Finance - TPM Reimbursements, Deductions, Settlements

This role is a strategic leadership position within the Finance Hub and Order to Cash (O2C) organization. The role is responsible for leading a team to ensure successful collaboration and execution on trade promotion budgets, forecasting and settlements for the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) and other Global Operating Units. The duties include financial controls ownership for trade spend budgets totaling $2.7B, 635 customer and Bottler contracts, and 385,000 transactions annually. This leadership position heads the Deductions from Revenue (DFR) fulfillment COE for Bottler Delivered Business including Cooperative Trade Marketing (CTM), Go To Market (GTM) funding, Special Marketing Funds (SMF), and BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition trade promotions as well as Warehouse Juice, and Canada Trade businesses.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Owner of the CTM Bottler Bank processes and finance team that uses a system called MARS. The Bank is responsible for trade management with bottlers where NAOU acts as banking function - collecting funds from bottlers and paying customer trade dollars out to National Retail and Foodservice Customers. $1.6B in Cash flows through this team and NAOU holds a liability risk if bottlers do not contribute. Significant knowledge required to ensure compliance with trade terms with bottlers and also National Retail Teams.
  • Influencing and leading all bottlers who interact with CTM/MARs tool to ensure compliance, resolve issues, discuss issues and concerns with the end state that all bottlers funds are collected and no financial issues arise from CCNA. This is a high-risk area where subject matter expertise and adherence to policies is required to be successful.
  • Manage a team of Full Time Employees (FTE) and Genpact contract partners.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Leadership:

  • Oversee process controls and financial management aspects of NAOU DFR and provide advisory recommendations on day-to-day finance operations.

  • Identify, analyze, and provide recommendations to leadership on risks and opportunities for DFR activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner across the Coca-Cola System with Operating Units, bottling partners, and Genpact to process, validate and manage customer-specific investments and trade execution.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Cultivate an empowered and collaborative finance team by leveraging coaching, constructive feedback, and modeling strong leadership behaviors. Foster engagement and capability throughout the team of direct and indirect reports - as well as key stakeholders.

Experience & Background:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance operations, financial planning, portfolio management, or similar scenarios.
  • Proven ability to deliver results and lead successfully within complex, networked organizations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships, including Sales & Marketing,
  • Customers, Operations, Commercial Planning, and Finance teams.
  • Preferred: Bottler and/or customer development experience.
  • Experience working with bottler approval processes, trade execution, and cross-functional governance.
  • Estimated Travel: 5-10%

Pay Range:
$180,000 - $203,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
