Senior Director, Creative Strategist & Content

Lead the OU Creative Contents Community and serve as CCTM Content Lead, owning Coca-Cola TM's end-to-end creative strategy and content development for Japan.

This role sets the vision, governance, process, and standards for all creative content across the organization, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and culturally relevant content, experiences, and engagements.

You will unify internal teams, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders into a single, high-performing Creative Contents Community that strengthens Coca-Cola's brand equity and brand love, while driving habit building, W+ recruitment, and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Contents Community Leadership

  • Lead and orchestrate the entire Creative Contents Community across JSK, acting as the single point of leadership for creative content excellence, alignment, and capability building
  • Establish and own creative content vision, operating model, governance, processes, and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all touchpoints
  • Serve as the CCTM Content Lead, with ultimate accountability for all CCTM content strategy, development, and delivery across channels and experiences
  • Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and creative excellence across internal teams, agencies, and external partners
  • Build digital/marketing tech capability to generate tech enabled contents (e.g. AI generated contents) for broader and customized target

Creative Strategy & Content Excellence

  • Author the overall TM Creative and Content Strategy, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives, brand priorities, and global platforms
  • Drive the development of best-in-class creative briefs across all pillars, ensuring clarity of insight, idea, role of content, and success metrics
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, insight-led content ecosystems, going beyond film to include digital-first, experience-led, and community-driven platforms
  • Champion innovation in both what content is created and how it is created, leveraging data, technology, and new creative models

Consumer Insight, Data & Innovation

  • Lead internal and agency teams in identifying deep consumer, cultural, and behavioral insights and translating them into compelling creative and communication strategies
  • Drive the creation of experience- and digital-based ecosystems that collect, enrich, and activate 1PD, enabling long-term consumer relationships
  • Identify and implement innovative ways to measure creative effectiveness, linking brand impact to behavioral and commercial outcomes

Agency & Partner Leadership

  • Lead agency briefings and manage senior-level partnerships, building Japan and South Korea's strongest, most collaborative creative ecosystem
  • Ensure agencies operate as true extensions of the Creative Contents Community, consistently raising the creative bar and inspiring the broader System
  • Collaborate with Global teams to adapt and elevate global platforms through strong JSK insights, delivering locally resonant communication that drives both Brand Love and Brand Value

Cultural Leadership & Ecosystem Building

  • Lead the development of sustainable, ownable, long-term engagement platforms that drive efficient reach, recruitment, and frequency
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g., Music, Fashion, Artists, Culture Makers) to embed Coca-Cola deeply and authentically into culture, strengthening leadership and relevance

People, Governance & Resource Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the next generation of creative leaders within the JSK Creative Team and broader Creative Contents Community (11 Team members)
  • Own performance evaluation, capability building, and career development for the JSK Creative Team
  • Hold ultimate responsibility for DME allocation related to content creation and agency fees, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI
