Role Purpose
The Senior Director, Brand Management France - Coca-Cola Trademark (CCTM) leads the brand strategy, integrated execution, and performance delivery for CCTM (Original Taste, Zero Sugar, Light variants) in France.
Operating within the Franchise model, this role translates Global and Europe OU (operating unit) strategies into locally relevant, insight-led, high-impact brand plans, ensuring excellence across Media & Connections, innovation, and in-market execution.
As a core member of the France Marketing Leadership Team, this role contributes to shaping the overall marketing agenda and ensuring strong alignment across brands and capabilities.
The role drives sustainable growth (volume, NSR, OI), brand equity, and competitive outperformance in a Top 4-9 market, in close partnership with Customer & Commercial teams, CCEP (bottler), and OU/network stakeholders, while ultimate business accountability sits with the VP France (Franchise Lead).

1. Brand Strategy & Market Deployment
- Translate Global and Europe OU strategies into locally relevant, insight-led brand plans.

- Lead development of annual and mid-term (1-3 year) brand strategies aligned with Franchise priorities.
- Define growth opportunities to drive penetration, frequency, and brand equity.
- Deliver market share growth and competitive advantage through clear strategic choices.
2. Integrated Planning & Full-Funnel Execution
- Lead integrated brand planning, ensuring strong alignment across all touchpoints.
- Oversee execution across Media & Connections, digital, social, PR, and experiential.
- Ensure global platforms are adapted with cultural relevance for the French market.
- Drive excellence in in-market execution and campaign performance.
3. Media & Connections Leadership
- Partner with Media & Connections teams to deliver full-funnel, data-driven campaigns.
- Ensure strong audience planning, media effectiveness, and ROI optimization.
- Support deployment and optimization of connections ecosystems (media, digital, influencer, sponsorships).
- Align closely with Customer & Commercial teams on shopper-linked activation.
4. Innovation & Portfolio Deployment
- Lead local execution and input into the innovation pipeline for CCTM.
- Ensure strong market landing of innovations across communication and execution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to validate consumer relevance and commercial viability.
- Embed post-launch evaluation and learnings into future plans.
5. System & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key marketing interface with CCEP (bottler) and system partners.
- Collaborate closely with Customer & Commercial, RGM, Finance, Insights, and Supply Chain.
- Represent France in OU and Global brand forums, bringing forward local insights.
- Ensure alignment across Franchise, OU, and system stakeholders.
6. Marketing Leadership Team Contribution
- Act as an active member of the France Marketing LT, shaping priorities and ways of working.
- Ensure strong alignment across portfolio, campaigns, and capability agendas.
- Contribute to marketing excellence, integration, and capability building across the function.
7. Performance Management & Investment Effectiveness
- Own and track brand performance across volume, NSR, OI, share, and equity metrics.
- Contribute to DME effectiveness and optimization through strong planning and measurement.
- Lead performance reviews, campaign evaluation, and corrective actions.
- Embed a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
8. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Directors and Senior Managers.
- Strengthen capabilities in brand strategy, Media & Connections, and integrated execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity, and inclusion.
- Build succession pipelines and future marketing leadership capability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10-12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience (FMCG preferred).
- Proven experience managing large brands in matrixed, system environments.
- Strong expertise across brand strategy, Media & Connections, innovation, and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver results.
- Experience collaborating with Commercial, RGM, Media & Connections, Insights, and Finance.
- Proven people leadership and team development capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- French language skills are considered an advantage, but are not essential.
