We are seeking a Quality Technician Coordinator to join our manufacturing team and play a vital role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and package integrity. As our Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting quality testing, supporting laboratory operations, maintaining compliance programs, and helping drive continuous improvement across the facility.

2 Open Roles: 1 Day Shift / 1 Night Shift (2-2-3 Rotation)
Position Related Responsibilities and Key Job Duties
- Schedule, coordinate, and maintain quality and microbiology proficiency programs to ensure continued compliance and laboratory readiness.
- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with established specifications and food safety standards.
- Communicate testing results, deviations, and inspection findings clearly and effectively to management and cross-functional teams.
- Support environmental monitoring and sanitation verification programs to maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Ensure laboratory testing activities are completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, company, and food safety regulations.
- Support Management Systems initiatives through review of KORE and North America policies, gap assessments, monthly GMP inspections, and participation in internal audits.
- Coordinate the QA Calibration Program, including scheduling, calibrating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and documenting calibration activities for laboratory and process equipment.
- Manage equipment service requests and maintain accurate, up-to-date calibration and maintenance records.
- Support SSOP inspections and sanitation verification activities to ensure compliance with operational and food safety standards.
- Investigate consumer complaints by conducting root cause analysis, reviewing data, and preparing reports for QA leadership.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires by providing laboratory orientation and quality systems instruction.
- Review and monitor microbiological testing data daily and escalate potential issues or trends as needed.
- Support nonconforming product processes, including product holds, releases, and SAP transaction completion.
- Assist with quality and food safety validation activities to support operational compliance and continuous improvement.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality testing, laboratory operations, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, including handling proprietary formulas and processes.
- Successful completion of the Aon behavioral/personality assessment.
- Ability to learn and operate laboratory equipment, including refractometers, pH meters, auto titrators, density meters, and turbidity meters.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in SAP, EtQ, and InfinityQS.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment operation manuals and technical documents.
- Willingness to participate in job development and ongoing training programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to complying with all Safety, Environmental, Security, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies and procedures.
