Position Overview:
The North America Operating Unit Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) Intern will support diverse initiatives related to ingredient and formula compliance, claim substantiation, and digital systems innovation & process optimization.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Support SRA team in project & innovation work, including creating regulatory data (e.g. - ingredient statements and nutrition information), reviewing compliance of formulations across beverage categories, managing records across data systems, etc.
- Conduct research on new and emerging ingredients and create competitive assessments to inform claim strategy & whitespace opportunities
- Lead an assessment of current SRA processes to identify potential opportunities to implement data analytics/machine learning/AI to drive greater efficiency and magnify business impact.
- Support data-driven enhancement and optimization of existing digital tools within the team.
Education Requirements:
- Must be currently pursuing a Master's or Graduate level degree or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025 in a related major (e.g. - Food Science, Nutrition, or related)
Functional Skills:
- Regulatory Landscape - Knowledge of the regulatory landscape affecting food and beverages in North America
- Scientific Research: Knowledge of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) processes related to ingredients, labels, claims, and communication and ability to conduct research on functional ingredients and products.
- Preferred but not required: Proficiency in at least 1 of the following: data analytics, artificial intelligence, coding
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Dates of Internship: May 18 - July 31, 2026
