Our Public Affairs, Communications, Sustainability (PACS) teams inspire growth and build trust with key stakeholders by forming meaningful relationships, communicating impact, and shaping the external environment in which our business operates. We are currently seeking a Manager, PACS - TUR (Trade Association) to lead daytoday engagement with trade associations and support public affairs and communications initiatives in Turkey. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management skills, policy awareness, and hands on execution capability.
What You'll Do for Us
- Support the delivery of Public Affairs, Government Relations, Communications, and Sustainability related initiatives in Turkey, with a primary focus on Trade Association engagement, under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Director PACS.
- Act as the day-to-day lead for Trade Association relationships, representing the Company in relevant industry platforms, working groups, and committees.
- Coordinate Company positions within Trade Associations, ensuring alignment with corporate and Franchise priorities and consistency of messaging.
- Monitor Trade Association agendas, policy discussions, and regulatory developments, assessing potential implications for the business and escalating insights as appropriate.
- Support the development of advocacy positions, briefing materials, and talking points for Trade Association meetings and engagements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Trade Association leadership, member companies, and secretariats to advance shared priorities.
- Support Public Affairs and Government Relations initiatives through research, stakeholder mapping, meeting coordination, and followup actions.
- Track and report on Trade Association activities, commitments, and outcomes, ensuring visibility and accountability.
- Support external communications related to Trade Associations, including statements, key messages, and alignment with broader PACS narratives.
- Coordinate with Legal, Marketing, Sustainability, and other internal teams to ensure aligned positions and inputs for Trade Association engagement.
- Support Franchise Sustainability initiatives by coordinating sustainability related discussions and actions within relevant Trade Associations.
- Monitor NGOs, activists, and industry groups relevant to Trade Associations in Turkey, flagging emerging issues and risks.
- Support crisis communications by providing Trade Association insights, intelligence, and coordination support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Communications, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, government relations, Trade Associations, regulatory affairs, or stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of Trade Association structures, governance, and advocacy processes, ideally within Turkey.
- Experience engaging with industry bodies, chambers of commerce, or sector associations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefs, position papers, and stakeholder updates.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working cross functionally and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
