We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant with mastery in cloud database engineering. The ideal candidate will be at the helm of our diverse portfolio of existing and undeveloped solutions centered on Cloud and Non-Cloud hosted technologies.
What You'll Do for Us
- Technical ownership of the systems - need to learn and understand different use cases of different database Engines within our company.
- Day to day monitoring and ownership from technical point of view to make sure each database is running as expected.
- Continuous development and optimization of needed processes.
- Collaborating closely with internal business or application owners and external development partners.
- Define and maintain existing and newly standardized Database solutions.
- Proactively suggest possible changes and optimizations in the process and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years work experience in Database Administration for either MSSQL or Oracle hosted database environments.
- Able to do database related tasks within Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems.
- Understanding or hands on experience of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Able to think critically with strong investigative skills.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong sense of commitment and accountability.
