Role Summary

The Manager, Customer Marketing - Immediate Consumption leads channel strategy and execution frameworks across convenience, forecourt, campus, and high-traffic urban outlets across GCM.

This role owns velocity growth strategy, cold availability standards, and asset productivity frameworks, driving measurable performance improvement across China's dense retail network.

Please note: This role is not fully remote. The selected candidate will need to be based in Shanghai and follow our hybrid work setup

What You'll Do for Us

Define Impulse & Velocity Strategy

  • Develop long-range growth strategy for immediate consumption occasions
  • Establish cooler placement, visibility, and asset productivity standards
  • Lead seasonal and event-driven activation strategy to maximize impulse capture

  • Partner with Bottlers to elevate execution discipline and outlet-level performance
  • Define KPIs for velocity, cold availability, share of space, and outlet penetration
  • Influence asset deployment and investment prioritization
  • Identify structural gaps and implement scalable corrective solutions

Integrate National Campaigns to Outlet Level

  • Ensure brand campaigns translate into high-impact in-store execution
  • Provide field insights to inform portfolio and activation strategy

Perform other job-related duties as assigned, in response to evolving business needs and market dynamics

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-8 years experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or route-to-market leadership
  • Strong understanding of China high-density retail environments
  • Demonstrated operational rigor and execution excellence
  • Experience influencing cross-system stakeholders

Preferred

  • FMCG beverage experience
