Manager, HORECA Analyst

This role supports the HORECA (Local Eating & Drinking/Foodservice) business by providing analytics of business causal factors, supporting the annual business planning process, and offering thought leadership in solutions and tools to address critical initiatives. The position includes responsibility for the HORECA bottle/can and fountain (LMP) businesses.

Responsibilities

Business Analytics

  • Analyzes business performance and specific commercial initiatives; extracts key insights, implications, and possible solutions.
  • Conducts issue-specific deep-dive analytics, clearly identifying causal factors, risks, opportunities, and potential actions.
  • Identifies and understands patterns and interconnectivity of relevant internal and syndicated data to forecast trends.
  • Builds tools and dashboards to enable accurate and efficient data analysis that supports business needs.

Business Planning

  • Supports development of commercial initiatives (i.e.: Sources of Growth) through reasonable, fact-based assumptions.

System Support

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in data analysis, integrity, and tools in partnership with Performance Management team.

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Experience with large data sets to yield information that supports business needs and questions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including modeling, pivot tables, formulas, graphing, data normalization.
  • Experience in creating reporting dashboards using tools including Power BI or other visualization software.
  • Knowledge of syndicated marketplace information and data (i.e.: Nielsen, Circana CREST).

Experience & Background:

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in business or marketing analytics

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in data analysis and problem solving
  • Ability to draw insights and actions from data, construct and deliver a story, and influence action at all management levels
  • Strong work ethic, proven experience as problem solver, and comfort working in ambiguous, complex environment

Preferred: Master's degree in business Analytics or Administration

  • Experience and knowledge of Coca-Cola sales reporting systems i.e. MVR
  • Experience working in Coca-Cola system, especially in Foodservice and On-Premise channel or Bottler Operations
  • Foodservice analytics and strategy
  • Experience in SAP/Snowflake
