Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Accomplishing standards to assure safety, food safety, GMPS and quality in the products

Corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Do Work Orders of maintenance (preventive, corrective and predictive)
  • Control system and PLC programing
  • Do reports and file documents and information
  • Operation and maintenance of critical utilities.
  • Take care of equipment even if don't exist a Work Order
  • Help to production operators in adjustment of equipment
  • Help in technical problems
  • Take care of maintenance areas
  • Generate and implement improvement Ideas in manufacturing areas
  • Support and participate actively in the implement of the capex projects
  • Perform activities complying with corporate guidelines such as policies, ethics & compliance, safety, training, KORE standards and GMP's
  • Actively participate in the implementation, development, maintenance and improvement of the Integral Management System (SGI)

Related Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience of 1 to 5 years in maintenance related to production equipment and utilities (Desirable).

Technical Skills (Desirable):

  • Knowledge in industrial area
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Planning skills.
  • Mechanic skills
  • Control and instrumentation, PLC programming, electronics and interpretation of electrical drawings
  • Instrument calibration
  • Electrical skills (From 23,000 to 110 volts)
  • Knowledge of mechanic, electric and electronic spare parts
  • Knowledge of use and handling of measuring instruments

Educational Requirements:

Mechanic, control and automation, mechatronics, electrical, robotics or electronic engineer or technician
