Maintenance Automation Engineer

Key Result Areas :

1. Automation & Intelligent Logistics Operations (35%)

  • Responsible for operations, configuration, alarming, and data acquisition of MII/Ignition, Batch, SPC, and industrial PLC systems; troubleshooting applications including thin-client production monitoring and batch control.
  • Utilize equipment IP lists to perform ping tests and troubleshoot communication failures.
  • Responsible for program, communication, and fault handling of ASRS, AGV, robotics, and related automation equipment.
  • Perform inspection, troubleshooting, program backup, and optimization for PLCs, servo systems, and instrumentation.

Guide maintenance technicians in resolving automation and control-related issues.
2. OT Network & Field Communication Monitoring (20%)

  • Responsible for monitoring and optimizing on-site OT networks, access-layer switches, and communication quality.
  • Ensure stable operation of industrial fieldbus and communication protocols.
  • Manage system data integration, interface stability, and on-site access/password control.

3. IT/OT Compliance, Audit & Change Management (15%)

  • Prepare, self-inspect, and implement corrective actions for OT-side audit documentation in accordance with GMP and company requirements.
  • Manage and document changes to programs, parameters, recipes, and configurations with full traceability.
  • Ensure compliance and traceability of program backups, contingency plans, and SOPs.

4. Disaster Recovery & High Availability (10%)

  • Develop and regularly test disaster recovery plans for automation system programs and recipes.
  • Perform backup and verification of SCADA projects, PLC programs, and password inventories.

5. Automation PM, Failure Analysis & Continuous Improvement (10%)

  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for automation equipment.
  • Define automation spare-parts requirements and support spare-parts management and safety stock optimization.
  • Plan software and hardware updates, upgrades, and replacement strategies for automation equipment.
  • Conduct failure RCA analysis and develop automation SOPs and technical documentation.

6. Automation Projects & Lights-Out Factory Support (10%)

  • Participate in automation upgrades, CAPEX projects, and commissioning of unmanned production lines.
  • Implement OT-side security, access control, and change management for lights-out factory operations.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in English; CET-6 or equivalent or above
  • Minimum of 5 years of automation operations and maintenance experience in the beverage or food industry.
  • Familiar with MII/Ignition, Batch systems, SPC, ASRS, AGV, and robotic systems.
  • Proven experience in OT networking, communication troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM) management, and software/hardware updates.
  • Proficient in CAD and SAP maintenance modules; knowledgeable in TPM methodologies.
