What You'll Do for Us
Ensure that finished products and ingredients are tested and released in accordance with company requirements (KORE) and regulations in a timely manner
- Perform chemical, microbiological and sensory testings and understand all test items required for release testing
- Familiar with the test methods and analytical equipment and appropriately assess the severity of any doubts that may arise during test process or in results obtained
Execute assigned programs and procedures to ensure that laboratory operations meet company and ISO17025 requirements
- Understand company requirements and ISO 17025 management system and implement and report on the validation of test items and equipment
- Prepare test procedures and related documents in accordance with the requirements and update control documents
- Calibrate and validate laboratory equipment/reference materials according to the maintenance plan and take appropriate action based on the results
Collaborate with other departments and suppliers for verification, project and troubleshooting from quality perspective, and optimize manufacturing, packaging, and QA/QC processes
- Understand quality issues and projects, propose necessary actions, and present insights
Participate in and execute global projects
- Fully understand global driven projects, communicate effectively, and take necessary actions
Continuously promote OE/Kaizen activities to improve productivity and build safe work environment
- Actively adopt culture of improvement and continue to improve productivity.
- Maintain work environment that keeps for safe work performance.
Qualification & Requirements
Basic knowledge and experience regarding methods and principles for chemical, microbiological and sensory testings. For example:
- Chemical testing: HPLC, IC, titration, spectrophotometer, colorimeter, density-specific gravity meter, refractometer and food additive standard testing
- Microbiological testing: Total viable bacteria, coliforms, yeasts and molds, enterobacteria, heat-resistant bacteria and TAB
Reagents handling and knowledge
Knowledge of food additives, food-related laws and regulations
Basic English skill
Work collaboratively and support team members and related departments, maintaining good communication to ensure efficient work progress
Take responsibility for assigned tasks and proactively resolve problems
3+ years of experience in consumer products, food and food additives, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics
Bachelor's degree in chemistry/ agricultural chemistry/ pharmaceutical/ food technology/ food engineering etc.
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of hazardous materials and organic solvents
Experience in development and manufacturing at food and beverage factories.
Knowledge of management systems (ISO17025, ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP)
Experience of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
Advanced Quality Assurance and Quality system knowledge
