Position Overview:
An IT/OT Intern (information Technology / Operational Technology Intern) supports the convergence of traditional business computing (IT) with industrial automation and control systems (OT) in manufacturing

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide best of Industry 4.0 initiatives and new technology upgrades at manufacturing sites
  • Perform quantitative analysis on production data to identify trends and recommend production efficiency improvements
  • Maintain inventory of IT/OT hardware and documentation, including technical manuals and network diagrams
  • Experiment / Support the design, prototyping, and testing of machine learning models for specific use cases in industrial automation
  • Contribute to building analytical dashboards for monitoring model performance and operational efficiency.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or Engineering
  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.

Related Work Experience:

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, industrial control systems, or cloud infrastructure is often preferred

Functional Skills:

  • Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, IP, firewalls, and routing to manage the flow of information between office and Exposure to Python for data analysis and building AI/ML models, as well as familiarity with Java or C++ for system integration
  • Knowledgeable in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or SQL) and familiarity with common operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams like Engineering and Quality

Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506

Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Dates of Internship: May 18 - July 31, 2026
