Finance Analyst

We are seeking a Finance Analyst for working in manufacturing plant ubicated in Vallejo to support billing accuracy, intercompany transactions, balance sheet integrity, internal controls, and insurance claim management within a manufacturing context. This role is essential to ensuring that shipments, expenses, and transfers are recorded timely and accurately, in full compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in finance operations, experience in a manufacturing environment, proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Transportation teams. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance financial rigor with operational understanding.
What You'll Do for Us
- Ensure that shipments to bottlers are billed in the month they occur, validating accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local and corporate accounting requirements.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transfers and related expenses, ensuring proper matching and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Control and monitor service contracts in coordination with the Administration area, ensuring timely renewals, compliance with internal policies, and accurate preparation of the Contract Log report.
- Coordinate the insurance claims process with insurance brokers, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time for payment.
- Follow up with insurers to ensure claims are settled within established timelines, escalating to Operating Unit or Corporate teams when support is required.
- Communicate recovered losses to Supply Management, Transportation, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to ensure materials are handled, destroyed, or written off in accordance with Company requirements.
- Coordinate the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process within the Finance team, ensuring timely execution, accurate account integration, and proper documentation.
- Analyze balance sheet account variations, providing clear explanations and supporting data to management and internal control teams.
- Coordinate and ensure that all corporate internal control reports are completed accurately and delivered on time, including monthly and quarterly requirements.
- Support the execution of the sales process, ensuring completion in line with Company requirements and performing weekly follow-ups to confirm timely closure.
- Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing activities for Concentrate operations in coordination with CPS Latin America / Mexico Division, ensuring accurate recording of concentrate sales and proper balance sheet reporting.
- Prepare, review, and submit required corporate and statutory reports such as Form 480, Contract Log, Facilitating Payments, Impairment, Litigation Reserves, Third-Party Guarantees, and INEGI or other local authority reports.
- Ensure adherence to The Coca-Cola Company's internal control framework, supporting audits and addressing findings with corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Transportation, Quality, and Commercial teams to align financial results with operational activities.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial operations including billing, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliation, and internal controls.
- Prior experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including coordination with regional or corporate finance teams.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms, with the ability to navigate financial modules and extract accurate data.
- Strong proficiency in PC-based applications, including Excel, Word, and other standard business tools, with the ability to analyze and present financial information clearly.
- Experience coordinating or supporting insurance claims processes, including documentation collection, follow-up, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data, identify variances, and explain results in a clear and structured manner.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines, reports, and compliance requirements simultaneously.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, working across functions and influencing stakeholders to support timely decision-making.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with functional leaders, external partners, and corporate teams in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Ability to balance financial rigor with an understanding of operational realities in a manufacturing environment.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive financial and contractual information in line with Company policies.
- Comfort working in a structured control environment with defined procedures, deadlines, and reporting standards.
