Engineering Intern
This internship is designed for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering who are interested in gaining hands-on industry experience, applying classroom knowledge, and developing professional engineering skills in a collaborative environment. This internship includes working on projects with regards to waste reduction, data analysis, efficiency improvement, safety, quality, or sustainability. During this summer internship you'll be mentored by experienced supply chain professionals to gain insight into the coordination of teams and processes in a complex, dynamic and best in class supply chain organization.
What you'll do for us. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with small engineering projects related to waste reduction, data analysis, efficiency improvement, safety, quality, or sustainability
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental or operational data
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries of findings
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other interns on assigned tasks
- Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Work in compliance with all OSHA standards and guidelines.
- Keep all work areas clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing engineering initiatives

Qualification / Competencies / Skills / Educational Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles (e.g., material balances, thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with engineering software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management
Job location and work conditions:
- The position is based in Apopka, FL.
- Normal manufacturing plant/office working conditions apply. This position is subject to the hazards and risks of a food manufacturing plant and its working environment.
Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506
Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
Location: Apopka, FL
Dates of Internship: May 18 - July 31, 2026
