Focus, Scope & Impact

  • Identify potential regulatory risks and opportunities across CCAR markets, ensuring continuous tracking of local, regional, and global regulatory issues and emerging trends impacting the reputation of our ingredients, products, packaging, and brands.
  • Implement globally aligned regulatory advocacy strategies to mitigate current risks and anticipate future headwinds affecting our ingredients, products, packaging, claims, labeling, communications, and marketing activities in the Central Asia and Caucasus region.
  • Lead and actively engage in industry and trade associations, food standards bodies, and regulatory forums in CCAR countries to advocate for company and industry positions, protect business interests, and facilitate growth in the region.
  • Provide expert guidance and regulatory affairs insights to local business units for resolving regulatory challenges related to products, ingredients, nutrition regulations, or labeling requirements.
  • Ensure compliance for all ingredients, formulas, products, labels, food contact materials, packaging, promotional materials, and marketing communications in line with local regulations and The Coca-Cola Company's global policies and guidelines for the CCAR region.

  • Support innovation and commercialization initiatives by providing scientific and regulatory expertise on new product concepts, new ingredients, and compliance considerations tailored to CCAR market specifics.
  • Oversee and manage ingredient, formula, product, package, label, claims, and communication approvals utilizing global compliance tools such as Picasso, CokeWorks, KOMPLY, etc.
  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient, effective regulatory compliance systems, processes, and tools, adapted to the needs and regulatory landscape of CCAR countries.

Key Success Parameters

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the food industry, government, or related sectors in scientific and regulatory affairs roles, preferably in multinational or regional settings.
  • Demonstrated advocacy experience and active leadership in relevant external organizations, committees, or boards within CCAR or similar markets.
  • Fluent in English and Russian
  • Proven ability to build relationships with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders throughout the Central Asia and Caucasus region.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills drive regulatory priorities and protect the company's interests in CCAR markets.
