The LATAM North (Mexico) Safety Director leads and operates as an indispensable member of the LATAM Health and Safety leadership team, coordinating the end-to-end health and safety agenda cross-functionally across the assigned region, collaborating with all the functions of the Technical Innovation Supply Chain team and of the Commercial teams.

What You'll Do for Us

Aligned with our long-term vision to create an environment where people can always be their best self and go back home in even better health and safety conditions that when they came to work or interacted with us, the position will design and follow through execution a fit for purpose, risk focused, culture maturity oriented strategic approach.

  • Act as business partner with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with and influencing all levels of leadership (from senior leaders to middle management), cross-functionally, providing them with the most appropriate information and tools for them to take the best decisions at any given time.
  • Exercise a continuous improvement approach, facilitating learning teams under the Human and Organizational Performance philosophy and leveraging benchmarks from internal and external best practices.
  • Be part of the Global Coca-Coca Company network to grow the overall Company maturity anticipating and contributing at addressing the future trends and opportunities

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Health and Safety (H&S) basic technical background, Management Systems / Operational Excellence, Human Organizational Performance.
  • Broad strategy development and influence, regional and global.
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts to relevant business insights and growth opportunities.
  • 10-15 years of senior leadership experience in leading scale transformation programs, change management. Proven successful track record in leading diverse teams.
  • English and Spanish required; Portuguese nice to have
