Hiring Manager: Senior Director, PACS WAMA

The Coca-Cola Company is on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Director, PACS - Public Policy & Sustainability to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping the way our brand interacts with the world, focusing on building positive relations with critical stakeholders including the public, government, and regulatory bodies. Your leadership will also be instrumental in leading policy and sustainability initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders. What You'll Do for Us:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans pertaining to public policy, government affairs, stakeholder management and sustainability-related programs and initiatives within the regions.
  • Represent The Coca-Cola Company as a primary contact for public affairs and policy discussions.
  • Support to identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities that may impact the business performance or company reputation in their region.
  • Proactive monitoring of NGO's, activists, socio-economic developments, and political developments to identify trends with implications to the business.
  • Lead our advocacy efforts and engagements with and build coalitions with external stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, community leaders and media partners, to advocate for or against and advance policies and programs that support our business goals in collaboration with our Public Policy and Sustainability system teams
  • Manage the company's response to fiscal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive sustainability commercialization/value creation initiatives that align with our brand values and business goals.
  • Oversee our responsible marketing policies and strategies to upstand our commitment.
  • Ensure cross-functional and system-wide alignment to optimize the use of resources and maximize the impact of public affairs, government relations, communications, and sustainability plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in senior roles with responsibility in public policy, government affairs, public relations within a global corporation.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in leading strategic engagement, stakeholder management and advocacy efforts with various stakeholders.
  • An understanding of sustainability program management, including commercializing sustainability initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fiscal, regulatory, and public affairs management.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and implement strategies across operational units, functions, or services.
  • Proficiency in technology enabled tools or AI with the ability to adopt them in public affairs management.
  • Confident decision-maker with experience managing wider-impact programs, vendors, and resources spanning multiple functions and operational units.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
