Our Public Affairs, Communications, Sustainability (PACS) teams inspire growth and build trust with key stakeholders by forming meaningful relationships, communicating impact, and creating innovative products and experiences for our brands and company. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced PACS leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public affairs, government relations, communications, stakeholder management, and sustainability.

What You'll Do for Us:

  • Provide leadership for all Public Affairs, Government Relations, Strategic Communications, and Sustainability related programs and initiatives within the Franchise, ensuring strong alignment with corporate priorities and delivery of an integrated PACS agenda, in close partnership with the Senior Director.
  • Own and execute end-to-end Franchise communication strategies, aligned with corporate and Franchise priorities and designed to engage diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Lead core Franchise communications pillars, including leadership communication, crisis management, internal and external communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Translate strategy into clear, compelling narratives and messaging, enabling organizational change, cultural transformation, and business performance.
  • Act as a trusted communications advisor to leadership, providing guidance on message framing, stakeholder engagement, and reputational risk management.
  • Champion innovative communication approaches, challenging existing paradigms and elevating how the Franchise communicates across channels.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback to continuously refine communication strategies and measure effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to ensure instinctive collaboration and seamless PACS integration into Brand and Innovation strategies and processes.
  • Ensure systemwide communications alignment, optimizing resources and maximizing impact across the Franchise.
  • Lead the integrated Franchise PACS agenda at Director level, ensuring coordination across Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability.

  • Act as a key advisor and point of contact for leadership on PACS related matters, supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities impacting business performance and Company reputation.
  • Manage and optimize PACS resources, including team capabilities and budgets, to deliver high quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to building one PACS system team, supporting capability building, talent development, and succession planning in partnership with the Senior Director.
  • Be accountable for the execution of PACS strategies and key priorities across the Franchise.
  • Execute Public Affairs and Government Relations initiatives aligned with Franchise priorities and integrated PACS plans.
  • Monitor regional NGOs, activists, and political developments to identify trends and issues with potential implications for the business.
  • Engage with government and nongovernment stakeholders to support advocacy efforts and advance business priorities.
  • Identify and manage divergent stakeholders, developing strategic engagement plans.
  • Lead Franchise Sustainability initiatives in partnership with the Sustainability team, owning end-to-end execution of Franchise specific programs and related communications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in senior roles with responsibility for public affairs, government relations, communications, stakeholder management, and sustainability.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams and collaboration with Marketing teams.
  • Experience of working internationally or in multicultural teams is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in public policy & government relations, stakeholder management, corporate communications, Incident management & crisis resolution, sustainability.
