About the Role

We're looking for a visionary and commercially minded Director, Creative to lead the creative agenda across one of our most strategically important markets in Europe. In this role, you'll shape how our portfolio of iconic brands comes to life for consumers and shoppers across the Netherlands. You'll lead the development and adaptation of powerful creative ideas that connect with local culture, inspire consumers, and drive business growth across every touchpoint, from advertising and social media to retail and in-store experiences. This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity, strategy, and leadership while working with global brands, leading agencies, and cross-functional teams to deliver award-worthy work with real business impact.

What You'll Do

Lead Creative Strategy

  • Define and drive the creative vision across a diverse portfolio of brands.
  • Translate global brand platforms into locally relevant campaigns and experiences.
  • Ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across consumer and shopper touchpoints.
  • Identify cultural trends and consumer insights that inspire breakthrough creative ideas.

Deliver Outstanding Creative Work

  • Lead the creation of integrated campaigns spanning TV, digital, social, experiential, retail, and emerging channels.
  • Develop inspiring creative briefs and guide agencies to deliver best-in-class work.
  • Champion innovative storytelling, content creation, and new creative technologies.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of creative quality, effectiveness, and brand excellence.

Create Impact Across the Consumer Journey

  • Drive seamless integration between brand-building communications and retail activation.
  • Shape engaging shopper experiences that convert brand love into purchase.
  • Partner with commercial teams to bring innovative customer and in-store activations to life.
  • Ensure creative ideas resonate wherever consumers discover, engage with, or purchase our brands.

Influence and Collaborate

  • Partner with marketing, media, digital, insights, commercial, and customer teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Work closely with regional and global stakeholders to adapt and enhance creative toolkits for local relevance.
  • Share market insights and learning to help shape future creative strategies and innovations.

Build and Inspire High-Performing Teams

  • Lead, coach, and develop a talented team of creative professionals.
  • Create an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and growth.
  • Foster a culture where bold ideas and continuous learning thrive.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Creative Arts, or a related field.
  • Significant experience leading creative strategy, brand communications, content development, or agency partnerships.
  • Proven track record of developing impactful campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital content, social platforms, consumer engagement, and retail activation.
  • Ability to balance creative excellence with commercial results.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
