Director, Business Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a Director, Business Analyst to join our Digital Product & Engineering team. This role serves as a strategic bridge between business opportunities and digital product execution. The Director, Business Analyst will lead discovery, business analysis, and value-definition activities that help shape future digital investments and innovation initiatives.
This role is ideal for a strategic and analytically minded leader who excels at translating complex business challenges into actionable product opportunities. You bring deep expertise in business analysis, customer and stakeholder engagement, product discovery, process transformation, and business case development. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, evaluating emerging technologies, and helping product and engineering teams prioritize opportunities that create measurable business outcomes. Through strong business acumen, data literacy, and digital fluency, you will help ensure that innovation efforts are grounded in enterprise priorities, user needs, and long-term value creation.
What You'll Do for Us
- Lead business analysis activities supporting prioritized digital products across the Global Digital Network.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering leaders, and other business stakeholders to identify problems worth solving and define opportunities for value creation.
- Facilitate discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process assessments, user research, and requirements elicitation.
- Analyze business processes, operational challenges, customer needs, and data insights to identify opportunities for digital transformation and product innovation.
- Translate strategic goals and business needs into clearly defined capabilities, requirements, user stories, business outcomes, and product hypotheses.
- Develop business cases, value assessments, benefits frameworks, and investment recommendations that support prioritization and funding decisions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, artificial intelligence solutions, automation opportunities, and digital capabilities to determine their applicability and potential business impact.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine product concepts, define minimum viable products, and establish measurable success criteria.
- Lead cross-functional workshops that align stakeholders around business priorities, product direction, risks, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Establish traceability between business objectives, product requirements, solution designs, and realized business value.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators, adoption measures, and value realization metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital products and innovation initiatives.
- Support portfolio planning activities by identifying opportunities, dependencies, risks, organizational impacts, and change requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of business analysis practices, tools, frameworks, and methodologies across the Product & Engineering organization.
- Contribute to product strategy discussions by providing market, customer, operational, and business insights that inform future roadmaps.
- Ensure requirements and recommendations consider data, technology, sustainability, governance, security, compliance, and user experience implications.
- Foster strong partnerships across business functions, product teams, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to support successful solution adoption and business outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, digital transformation, consulting, strategy, operations, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives within global or highly matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated experience conducting business discovery, requirements analysis, process optimization, and value realization activities for digital products or technology programs.
- Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies, requirements management, process modeling, journey mapping, capability assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting product management and agile product delivery teams from opportunity identification through solution implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, investment recommendations, benefits analyses, and value measurement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience leveraging data to support decision-making and prioritization.
- Digital fluency and working knowledge of modern technology platforms, cloud solutions, automation, data platforms, and artificial intelligence applications.
- Artificial intelligence fluency, including the ability to assess business use cases, value drivers, risks, governance considerations, and adoption implications.
- Experience facilitating executive and senior stakeholder discussions, workshops, and decision-making forums.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and influencing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business recommendations.
- Experience operating in agile environments and partnering effectively with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, and Data Science teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect enterprise strategy, customer needs, operational challenges, and product investments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
