Costa Mexico Sr. Finance Manager

Position Overview:

The main objective of the Financial Manager is to do the forecasting process for Rolling Estimates and Business Plan processes from Costa Coffee Mexico business. The position is responsible for reporting and consolidating the Profit and Loss Statements (P&L) to the Controllers Group. Support the Senior Leadership team to meet/exceed volume, NSR and Operating Income targets (mainly, while monitoring the Equity Results). Additionally, to keep an accurate management of the Costa Mexico P&L and R&O.

The position interacts across functions such as OU Finance/Controller, Commercial team, Commercial Product Supply, Controllers Group (Costa Limited UK) and Bottler relations.

Job Description:

Responsible for carrying out ABP and RE processes for all Costa Coffee platforms, aligning objectives with commercial areas, including budgeting, and forecasting. (Finance Models 50/50, Incidence).

  • Monitoring and reviewing financial plans regularly to ensure they are on track and making adjustments as needed

Closing routines, aligning results with stakeholders, and financial teams (UK), and analyzing data and trends to provide insights.

  • Lead billing process aligned with the monthly sales. Control by bottlers/clients detail.
  • Recognition of company costs associated with monthly sales.
  • Management and control of Opex and DME budget campaigns.
  • Generate and validation of financial information through the systems (SAP, Hyperion)
  • Managing and overseeing the financial planning process to ensure compliance with internal policies.

Generation of P&L (System| Costa | Bottler), monthly performance review, and detection of Risks & Opportunities.

  • Responsible for reconciling P&L with bottlers (SYS/BO/KO).
  • Responsible for accounting the conciliation results with the bottler.

Technical Skills:

  • SAP experience (finance module)
  • The job involves analysis and scenario-planning skills
  • Ability to improve reporting and planning process to be more efficient

  • Business Knowledge and Finance Analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint/Smart View
